  • The implementation, testing and evaluation of networked energy management systems and services that utilize Internet Protocol - Next Generation (IPv6) enabled systems

Energy Audit
Effective management of energy-consuming systems can lead to significant cost and energy savings as well as increased comfort, lower maintenance costs, and extended equipment life. The energy audit evaluates the efficiency of all building and process systems that use energy. Auditor starts at the utility meters, locating all energy sources coming into a facility. Then identifies energy streams for each fuel, quantifies those energy streams into discrete functions, evaluates the efficiency of each of those functions, and identifies energy and cost savings opportunities.

Energy accounting provides feedback on how much energy your organization uses, and how much it costs. It also provides a means to effectively communicate energy data that facility staff, building occupants and managers can use to improve cost management. Energy accounting will help your organization:
  1. Record and attribute energy consumption and costs.
  2. Troubleshoot energy problems and billing errors.
  3. Provide a basis for prioritizing energy capital investments.
  4. Evaluate energy program success and communicate results.
  5. Create incentives for energy management.
  6. Budget more accurately.

Energy Star rating
Under the provisions of the Energy Conservation Act 2001 Govt. of India set up a statutory body Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) having regulatory functions to develop minimum Energy Performance Standards & Labelling for equipment / appliances and buildings.

The rating will grade Equipments/ Buildings on their energy efficiency, starting from one star for the least energy-efficient, and going up to five stars, for the most energy-efficient.

The rating will grade Equipments/ Buildings on their energy efficiency, starting from one star for the least energy-efficient, and going up to five stars, for the most energy-efficient.

Star Labels have been created to standardize the energy efficiency ratings of different electrical appliances and indicate energy consumption under standard test conditions.

Presently energy star labelling is given to buildings for Office Buildings, Hotels, Hospitals, Retail Malls, and IT Parks in five climate zones in the country, having under following criteria.
  • Those buildings having a connected load of 100 kW and above would be considered for BEE star rating scheme.
  • Energy Performance Index (EPI) in kWh / sqm/ year will be considered for rating the building.
  • Buildings have been categorized into two, having air conditioned area greater than 50% and less than 50% of built up area.

Green Building & Leed Consulting
LEED is a third party certification program and the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED certification offers third party validation of a project's green features and verifies that the building is operating exactly the way it was designed to.
LEED certification is available for all building types and sizes including new construction and major renovation; existing buildings; commercial interiors; core and shell; schools and homes.
LEED is a point based system where building projects earn LEED points for satisfying specific green building criteria. Within each of the seven LEED credit categories, projects must satisfy particular prerequisites and earn points. Categories include Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality.

Energy Management System-ISO 50001:2011
Energy Management is necessarily required because it influences a number of aspects of company operation and activities including the following:
  • Energy costs which affect the company profitability
  • Energy costs which affect the competitiveness in the world market
  • National energy supply/demand balance
  • National trade and financial balance
  • Local and global environments
  • Occupational safety and health
  • Loss prevention and waste disposal reduction
  • Productivity
  • Quality

Benefits of Energy Management:
  • Reduce costs
  • Improve business performance
  • Engage top management
  • Comply with legislation
  • Reduce your GHG emissions
  • Formalise energy policy and objectives
  • Integrate your management systems
  • Secure energy supply
  • Drive innovation
  • Flexible and scalable

Energy Optimization Initiatives
The program or initiative provides an opportunity to introduce energy efficiency measures as varied as they are effective, including the modernization and centralization of control systems, a heat recovery ventilation system, insulation of the building envelope and window reconditioning.
