Environmental Risk Assessment
During recent times, increasing social awareness and involvement on issues relating to Environmental degradation, has helped transition the environmental regulations from the earlier hazard-based to the present age risk-based approach. Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) as the name suggest, is the examination of risks resulting from various threat sources including technology that threaten ecosystems, animals and people. It includes human health risk assessments, ecological or eco toxicological risk assessments, and specific industrial applications risk assessment that examine resultant impact in people or ecosystems Environmental Risk Assessment is the procedure in which the risks posed by inherent hazards involved in processes or situations and the interactions of products, services & activities with environment are estimated either quantitatively or qualitatively to enable effective risk management decisions and their deployments. Organization should carry out Environmental Risk Assessment in the following situations to ensure:
  • Compliance with legislation
  • Product safety
  • Financial planning (Mergers & Acquisitions)
  • Site-specific decision making
  • Prioritization and evaluation of risk reduction measures

Applications of ERA
  • Site-Specific ERA for Routine & Non-routine Releases
  • Transportation Risk Assessment
  • Product Risk Assessment and Life Cycle Assesment - LCA
  • Risk Assessment Techniques Developed for Specific Industrial Application

Risk Assessment Process
  • Hazard Identification/Release Assessment (HAZOP, FMEA, HAZAN, FTA, FETI etc.)
  • Exposure Assessment
  • Consequence Assessment
  • Risk Estimation

Environmental Internal Audits is a audit which identifies: where your environmental management processes are working well, where they need to be improved, whether there are any new potential environmental risks

Environmental Impact Analysis
Environmental Clearance from the concerned regulatory authority (at the Central level the Ministry of Environment and Forests and at State level the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) of New, Expansion or Modification projects are given based on Environmental Impact Analysis. Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA), one of the proven management tools for incorporating environmental concerns in development process, is a systematic process of identifying future consequences (positive or negative) of a current or proposed action on the environment, together with the review of the environmental, social and economic aspects.

Eight guiding principles for entire process of EIA is as follows:
  • Transparency
  • Certainty
  • Participation
  • Practicality
  • Flexibility
  • Cost-effectiveness
  • Credibility
  • Accountability
Benefits of Environmental Impact Analysis
  • Identify potential environmental impacts,
  • Scrutinize the significance of environmental implications,
  • Measure whether impacts can be mitigated,
  • Suggest preventive and corrective mitigating measures,
  • Report to decision makers and concerned parties about the environmental implications, and
  • Inform whether development should go ahead..

Environmental Audit
  • As per the provision of the rule prescribed under Environmental Protection Act Section14, it is mandatory for all industries to submit an Environmental Audit Report / Statement in the prescribed form by 30th of September every year for the financial year ending the 31st March.
  • Environmental Experts of Agile Group assist the organization to submit the environmental audit report based on thorough and detailed analysis of organization in context with Water Management, Pollution discharged and released, Hazardous and Solid waste management, Impact of pollution abatement measures taken by organization, additional measures and investment for environmental protection, energy consumptions and production details etc.

Requirement of Environmental Audit
  • Compliance to regulatory, statutory and customer requirements
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Environmental Management System
  • Sustainability Reporting
  • Calculation of Carbon Foot printing
  • Calculation of Water Foot printing
  • Financial Planning

Sustainability Reporting is the practice of measuring, disclosing, and being accountable for organizational performance while working towards the goal of sustainable development. A sustainability report provides a balanced and reasonable representation of the sustainability performance of the reporting organization, including both positive and negative contributions.
In these days stakeholders, suppliers and governmental institutions want a better understanding of how companies manage their resources to achieve their goals to accomplish sustainable development. Hence companies are adopting new methods and techniques in their financial disclosure and information about the core activities and the impact that these have on the environment.
Sustainability Reporting has four key factors which comprises of sub factors - Compliance to regulatory, statutory and customer requirements, Environmental (Materials, Energy, Water, Biodiversity, Emission, Effluent & Waste, Product & Services, Compliance, Transport etc.), Social (Labour Practices & Decent Work, Safety, Human Rights, Society, Product Responsibility etc.), and Economic (Transparency, Corporate Governance, Economic performance, financial performance, stakeholder value).
Sustainability Accounting is carried out on the basis of different International Standards and reporting guidelines.
The Sustainability Calculator & Tool developed and used by Agile Group helps accuracy and computation of the sustainability performance indicator specified in indicator protocol for sustainability reporting.

Fire Safety Audit is an audit to check and carefully analysed the three aspects of building structure Fire Prevention,Life Safety,Fire Protection such as the building layout; administrative regulations, development control rules and general building requirements; fire protection requirements; stipulations regarding materials and structural design; rules for design of electrical installations, lighting, air conditioning and lifts; regulations for ventilation, acoustics and plumbing services such as water supply, drainage, sanitation and gas supply; measures to ensure safety of workers and public during construction; and rules for erection of signs and outdoor display structures

Baseline Data Generation
Baseline data helps provide interpretation of how existing conditions might be expected to change over time due the development activities and. This is an important stage for getting the environmental clearance. Based on baseline data generations environmental impacts, mitigation measures and monitoring plan are established, implemented, controlled and monitored. Agile Group Expert help you to identify the attributes likely to be affected for baseline data generation based on environmental scoping matrix and project setting. Both the qualitative and quantitative data are generated from primary and secondary sources. These data also help the organization to demonstrate the compliance towards the consent conditions. Baseline data has been compiled for
  • Land Environment (land use, geology, seismology and soils);
  • Water Environment (water resources, water use, water quality, hydrology);
  • Air Environment (air quality);
  • Noise Environment (noise levels);
  • Ecological Environment (terrestrial and aquatic ecology);
  • Rainfall & Weather information;
  • Socio-Economic Environment (demography, socio-economic, public health and public hearing);
  • Traffic Pattern
